Jared and Stephanie Buchta were married in 2009 and they have two wonderful children, Abigail and Caleb. Jared has served as a bi-vocational pastor since 2013 when he was called from the pews into pastoral ministry. He serves as an associate pastor at Salt Lake Christian Center and a firefighter/paramedic with the Salt Lake City Fire Department. In addition, he is the Fire Department’s Chaplain. These different avenues give him a unique life experience that requires him to have a deep dependency on God and a continual perspective for eternity. Jared is passionate about the presence of God, intimacy with Jesus, walking in wholeness and purity, and living a life of worship and surrender. He dreams and hungers for revival, a move of the Holy Spirit that transforms the very makeup and culture of Utah. Stephanie is a strong partner alongside Jared and loves her role as a Mom. In this season of life, she is focused on raising their children to know and love the Lord. She is passionate about authenticity and helping people in their walk to freedom in Jesus. Family is a top priority for this couple and they enjoy the simple things in life like being silly together, playing games, dancing and singing, camping and traveling, and living a full life with Jesus.
